Job summary

Pacific University is seeking a skilled facilities technician to maintain, operate, and repair campus buildings and systems at Forest Grove. The role covers electrical, carpentry, welding, plumbing, and related trades to support a safe and welcoming campus environment.

With a minimum of five years of relevant experience and a valid Oregon driver’s license, you will work closely with students, faculty, and staff, performing preventive maintenance and responding to safety issues as they arise.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of related facilities experience.
• Valid Oregon Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Navigate and use the web-based work order system.
• Perform preventative and general repairs to installations on campus.
• Troubleshoot and repair plumbing malfunctions.
• Repair windows, doors, and ceilings; maintain surfaces.
• Maintain roofs and gutters; assist with dorm repairs.
• Lead or instruct other workers when required.
• Coordinate with outside contractors following university procedures.
• Operate hand and power tools; fabricate materials.
