Job summary

Pacific University seeks a skilled Limited Maintenance Electrician to maintain, repair, and operate campus electrical systems at Forest Grove. You will inspect, install, and service electrical and data applications, coordinate with contractors, and ensure safety and code compliance.

The role requires a minimum of five years in electrical work, an Oregon driver’s license, and an Oregon electrical license (General Journeyman).

Qualifications

• Strong electrical knowledge and adherence to electrical codes.
• Valid Oregon driver’s license.
• Current Oregon electrical license (minimum General Journeyman).
• General Supervisors license is preferred.
• HVAC control experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative and general repairs to campus electrical installations.
• Troubleshoot electrical malfunctions and repair systems.
• Advise on electrical needs for projects and consult with university community.
• Install and retrofit electrical and data applications as required.
• Coordinate with contractors and ensure compliance with university procedures.
• Maintain and monitor electrical permits and log work performed.
