Job summary

The Archdiocese of Omaha is seeking a Campus Facilities Engineer (CFE) to oversee the safe and efficient operation of facilities. Responsibilities include maintaining HVAC, elevators, and fire systems, performing preventive maintenance, and managing budgets.

Candidates should have 3-5 years of facility maintenance experience, a high school diploma, and strong problem-solving skills. Respect for Catholic values is required.

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years in facility maintenance for schools, churches, or multi-building campuses.
  • EPA Universal CFC certification often required; boiler license preferred.
  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs, climb ladders, and work at heights.

Responsibilities

  • Inspect and operate HVAC, boilers, plumbing, electrical, elevator, fire and lighting systems.
  • Implement and maintain proactive maintenance schedules.
  • Perform routine repairs and coordinate specialized repairs with licensed contractors.
  • Manage one full-time maintenance staff and assist with maintenance budgets.
  • Develop and maintain an annual maintenance schedule.
