Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Six months wage-earning experience in Custodial Services or a Vocational training certificate in Custodial Services is required.
• Must be able to read container labels and follow verbal instructions; strong English reading/writing ability.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the assigned building in a high state of cleanliness and move furniture as required.
• Clean and disinfect bathrooms, empty trash, replace liners, and service fixtures.
• Vacuum classrooms and offices, mop floors, buff and wax as needed.
• Replace light bulbs and report any facility defects to the custodial foreman.
• Follow safety requirements and energy conservation measures.
