Job summary

NC State University is hiring for a Crew Leader I in Environmental Services - Housekeeping. The role leads a team to perform critical cleaning tasks across campus, including power washing and floor maintenance, while maintaining safety and quality standards.

You will coordinate daily operations, monitor workloads, and respond to maintenance needs in a fast-paced, team-based environment. The position runs Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM on campus.

Qualifications

• Some knowledge of cleaning procedures, ability to follow instructions and to perform medium to heavy physical work; or an equivalent combination of training and experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects such as power washing entrances, window washing, floor waxing, and re-lamping fixtures.
• Inspect maintenance discrepancies and ensure timely resolution.
• Provide support to other zones when needed and cover for vacancies.
