Campus Facilities Auditor

The Campus Facilities Auditor will serve as an essential link between accurate facilities data and effective campus planning. This role involves conducting comprehensive audits of university buildings, verifying square footage, counting bathroom fixtures, and identifying flooring types. The position supports infrastructure maintenance and improves campus safety and comfort.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough audits of all university buildings to verify square footage.
  • Accurately count and document the number of fixtures in the bathrooms of each building.
  • Identify and record the types of flooring materials used throughout the campus.
  • Collaborate with the facilities management team to update and maintain accurate records of campus facilities.
  • Assist in identifying any maintenance or repair needs observed during audits.
  • Utilize spreadsheets and Microsoft Office to organize and analyze data collected during audits.
  • Communicate findings and recommendations to appropriate departments for further action.
  • Maintain a professional and friendly demeanor while interacting with university staff, faculty, and students.
Required Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent, practical organizational skills, attention to detail, thoroughness, problem‑solving skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office (particularly Excel), strong communication skills, and ability to work collaboratively. Analytical skills and adaptability for various building environments, coupled with professionalism and excellent customer service, are essential.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree with a preference for previous experience in building audits or related roles; same skill set as required qualifications.

Salary

$37,440 + depending on qualifications.

Working Conditions

Office environment and occasional exposure to adverse weather conditions and hazards during building audits.

Work Shift

40 hours/week Monday through Friday 5:00 p.m. – 2:00 a.m.
