To manage training, quality assurance, and process improvement programs in Custodial Services. Custodial Services is a large department with 449 members working day, evening and weekend shifts. Occasional travel will be required.
Bachelor's Degree. Relevant supervisory experience. Experience training frontline employees. Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Teams, Excel, Word and PowerPoint. Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication skills. Work effectively in teams and as an individual contributor. Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively. Professional demeanor. Must have a valid driver's license and an acceptable driving record.
Relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.
Bachelor's Degree in related field. More than five years supervisory experience in a large facilities or production organization. Management of a training organization composed of multiple trainers. Professional certification in training or training management. Experience in the OS1 Cleaning Program and familiar with work loading and process compliance. Project management proficiency. Quality assurance experience. Demonstrated experience in training workforce. Proficiency in multiple languages such as English, Spanish, ASL, French, Swahili, Kinyarwanda, Portuguese and Vietnamese.
This job requires a class "C" operator's driver's license. The applicant selected must provide a current three-year driving record from the current state of residence. If not currently a Texas resident, a Texas driver's license must be obtained within 30 days of becoming a Texas resident. Employees who are required to have a CDL are subject to drug and alcohol testing (pre-employment, post-accident, reasonable suspicion, random, return-to-duty, and follow-up drug and alcohol testing).
$82,000 + depending on qualifications
Work in a fast-paced work environment with overlapping deadlines. Direct client contact. Work in a team environment. Other related functions as assigned such as acting on behalf of peers and the Director, responding to clients, traveling to meetings, managing projects, serving on a variety of committees, etc.

The retirement plan for this position is Teacher Retirement System of Texas (TRS), subject to the position being at least 20 hours per week and at least 135 days in length.
