Lebanon Valley College invites applications for an Assistant/Associate Director of Inclusive Excellence. This role reports to the vice provost for student affairs and dean of students, and focuses on programming, education and training, student retention, case management, and on-call duties to foster belonging and engagement across the campus community.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in a related field.
  • At least 1 year of professional student affairs experience.
  • Ability to live in provided campus housing as a live-on staff member.
  • Experience mentoring, advising, and supporting historically underrepresented students and student organizations.
  • Understanding of the residential college environment and experience developing student programs.
  • Commitment to inclusive excellence and knowledge of issues affecting BIPOC and LGBTQ+ students in higher education.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and independently with initiative and sound judgment.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, coordinate, and implement inclusive excellence initiatives.
  • Plan and deliver programming, education, and training.
  • Support student retention and case management.
  • Participate in on-call responsibilities.
  • Collaborate across Student Affairs and campus partners to advance inclusive excellence.
  • Help create an environment where all students feel welcomed, valued, and empowered to participate.
