Compass Group USA, through Fresh Ideas Management, is hiring a Campus Executive Chef at Westminster College in Fulton, MO. The role leads kitchen operations on campus, ensuring safety, sanitation, and high-quality meals in alignment with corporate programs.

Ideal candidates have hands-on culinary leadership, a strong track record in high-volume settings, and ServSafe certification. Relocation assistance is available as part of the compensation package.

Qualifications

• A.S. or equivalent experience required.
• Minimum of 3–5 years of progressive culinary/kitchen management experience, preferably in a UNIVERSITY/COLLEGE setting.
• High volume, complex foodservice operations experience is highly desirable.
• Institutional and batch cooking experience.
• Hands-on chef experience is a must.
• Comprehensive knowledge of food/catering trends with focus on quality, production, sanitation, food cost controls, and presentation.
• ServSafe certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plans regular and modified menus according to established guidelines.
• Follows standardized recipes, portioning and presentation standards; completes and utilizes daily production worksheets and waste logs; tastes meals for quality.
• Trains kitchen staff in food preparation, safe handling, equipment operation, food safety and sanitation to Company and regulatory standards.
• Establishes and maintains cleaning and maintenance schedules for equipment, storage, and work areas; ensures schedules are followed.
• Maintains inventory of food and non-food supplies within guidelines; ensures necessary products are available.
• Makes decisions on utilization of leftover food within Company guidelines.
• Complies with health and sanitation regulations and permits audits.
• Follows safety policies; participates in departmental meetings and staff development.
