Job summary

Aramark is seeking a Catering Bar Server to provide professional beverage service at university events, alumni gatherings, student functions, and campus banquets. You will mix and pour drinks, maintain a clean bar, and ensure compliance with liquor laws and university policies.

Responsibilities include setup/teardown, beer/wine service, ID checks, guest greetings, POS handling, and maintaining safety and cleanliness across shifts.

• Must read, write, and follow verbal and written instructions.

Responsibilities

• Set up portable bars, ice bins, glassware, garnishes, and beverage inventory before events; clean and pack equipment after events.
• Pour beer and wine and prepare non-alcoholic options accurately and efficiently.
• Check IDs to verify legal drinking age; monitor consumption per state regs (TABC) and university policy.
• Greet faculty, students, staff, and VIP guests professionally.
• Operate POS systems, cash drawers, or drink tickets as required by event.
• Keep bar area clean, sanitized, and compliant with health codes during shifts.
