Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent training and administrative work experience.
  • 3–5 years of proven work experience.
  • Experience with an Events Management System and facilities scheduling.
  • Background check required.

Responsibilities

  • Oversees the department by coordinating campus events, reserving rooms/spaces, arranging facilities and catering, and coordinating AV.
  • Maintains university calendar and communicates with departments and staff.
  • Views and authorizes event requests and monitors reservations and space usage.
  • Assists with planning faculty/staff events and alumni, sponsor-related events.
  • Generates reports on room usage, scheduling, and budgets.
  • Liaisons with vendors on event-related matters and supports budget tracking.
  • Trains and supervises student staff as needed.
  • Attends meetings related to events on campus.
