Job summary

University of Alaska is seeking a Student Activities Assistant to help design and run campus events, fostering a welcoming Seawolf community. Qualifications

  • Be enrolled in the University of Alaska system with a minimum of six credit hours in the current semester of employment.
  • Have been enrolled the preceding semester for six or more credit hours and plan to enroll for six or more credit hours in the next semester.
  • Have at least a 2.0 cumulative GPA or approval from the MAU Senior Student Services officer.
  • Non-traditional programs of study may be eligible with approval.
  • Applicant must provide enrollment evidence to substantiate eligibility.

Responsibilities

  • Create meaningful events and build connections on campus.
  • Help with major campus traditions such as Homecoming and Winterfest.
  • Plan social programs and contribute to a welcoming campus experience.
  • Assist with setup, operations, and cleanup of events.
