Job summary

University of Alaska is seeking a Front Desk Attendant to assist at the Wood Center, Fairbanks campus. You will greet students and visitors, provide campus information, and help with tickets, lost & found, and events. The role pays $16.00 per hour and requires you to be a current UAF student.

Flexible part-time shifts are available, with on-site work required. Preference for candidates with office experience and strong customer-service skills.

Qualifications

• Enrolled as UAF student taking at least 6 credits per semester with a 2.0 GPA or newly enrolled.
• Experience in an office environment and a background in customer service.
• Professional demeanor, sound judgment, honesty and trustworthiness.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service and support to students and visitors.
• Operate the campus switchboard and manage lost & found.
• Sell tickets for campus and community events.
• Stock snacks, drinks, and other essentials.
• Assist with large campus events such as concerts, game nights and tournaments.
• Work independently with minimal supervision.
