Job summary

The University of Notre Dame Operations, Events, and Safety (UOES) division is currently hiring for temporary/on-call Bartenders within Rohr's in our campus Hospitality department. The UOES division oversees the University's event management, hospitality, and customer service functions, while also supporting student life, academic initiatives, research activities, and annual milestone celebrations.

Qualifications

• Bartending experience preferred; knowledge of drink recipes and bar operations.
• Ability to obtain a bartending license.
• Must meet Indiana's minimum age to serve alcohol.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
• Positive attitude and team-first mindset.

Responsibilities

• Mix and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages per recipes and guest preferences.
• Greet guests and take drink and limited food orders.
• Keep the bar stocked and monitor inventory, restocking as needed.
• Maintain a clean, compliant bar area with health and safety standards.
• Process credit card transactions using a POS system.
