Job summary

The Den Assistant at the College of Southern Nevada (The Den, Office of Civic & Cultural Engagement, North Las Vegas) is a student position to support campus events, social media, newsletters, and student engagement. Responsibilities include managing daily operations, assisting with events and classroom visits, and helping walk-in students.

Ideal candidates are detail-oriented, friendly, and comfortable using graphic design tools and Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of graphic design software and social media platforms.
• Knowledge of marketing campaigns and content creation.
• Skills in photography and video creation/editing (desirable).
• Knowledge of Cricut machine operation is a plus.
• Must be a current CSN student with FAFSA on file.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations of The Den and share resources with the campus community.
• Help execute on-campus events, info-meetings, and classroom visits.
• Assist walk-in students and respond to inquiries.
• Create, publish, and monitor social media content across platforms.
• Assist with newsletters or announcements and event recording.
• Attend, photograph, record, and/or live stream events.
