Job summary

East Stroudsburg University of Pennsylvania seeks a Facilities Operations Supervisor to lead a skilled trades team responsible for campus electrical repairs and maintenance. You will supervise journeyman-level staff, plan projects, read blueprints, and ensure safety and code compliance.

The role requires five years of supervisory experience in electrical trades, strong organizational skills, and proficiency with Word, Excel, and Teams.

Qualifications

• Five years of journey-level supervisory experience in electrical/building trades.
• Equivalent combination of experience and training acceptable.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Ability to read, write, and comprehend English; follow verbal instructions.
• Experience with Word, Excel, Teams required.

Responsibilities

• Plans, supervises, schedules, and assigns work to skilled tradesmen and sub-journeyman staff.
• Evaluates, prioritizes, and assigns work orders for construction and maintenance.
• Ensure all work complies with codes, guidelines, and project objectives.
• Repair and replacement of electrical motors, controllers, switchboards, lights, and generators.
• Read blueprints/specs for projects and estimate materials and labor.
• Provide training and on-the-job guidance on safety and methods.
