Responsibilities

• Scrapes and rinses food from dirty dishes and washes them by hand or uses dishwashing machine as assigned, ensuring cleanliness and sanitation.
• Washes pots, pans and trays per procedures, ensuring cleanliness and sanitation.
• Polishes silver using appropriate equipment to maintain cleanliness.
• Keeps dish area clean and safe, following safety procedures.
• Maintains temperatures and chemical levels as per standards.
• Sweeps and mops kitchen floors to meet safety and sanitation standards.
• Washes worktables, walls, refrigerators and other prep surfaces.
• Removes trash and handles waste per designated containers.
• Transfers supplies between storage and work areas; helps load/unload supplies.
