Responsibilities

• Scrapes and rinses food from dirty dishes and washes them by hand or uses a dishwasher; ensures cleanliness.
• Washes pots, pans and trays and maintains sanitation.
• Polishes silver using appropriate methods to maintain shine and sanitation.
• Maintains temperatures and chemical levels as outlined by standards.
• Keeps dish area orderly and compliant with safety standards.
• Sweeps and mops kitchen floors and cleans surfaces as required.
• Removes trash and handles waste per guidelines.
• Transports supplies between storage and work areas.
