Thomas Cuisine is hiring a Dishwasher at West Valley College in Saratoga, CA. This on-site role supports the kitchen during peak service, keeping dishes clean and the operation running smoothly.

You will work Monday-Thursday, 11am-7:30pm, with opportunities to gain food service experience and become part of a friendly campus team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Previous kitchen or hospitality experience preferred.
• Ability to stand for long periods.
• Commitment to cleanliness and food safety.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• ServSafe Certification and State Food Handlers Card required.

Responsibilities

• Operate dishwashing equipment to clean and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, and kitchen tools.
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas and prep surfaces.
• Check box bin: empty when needed.
• Set up/clear pot washing area (3-com sink area).
• Check tray-belt, clear if needed.
• Check and record wash/rinse temperatures.
• Wash any items that are soiled and dirty.
• Restock clean items in appropriate locations for kitchen and service staff.
