Job summary

YTI Career Institute seeks a Campus Director of Operations and Education to lead all campus operations in York, PA. The role drives academic vision, student success, and regulatory compliance across Education, Admissions, Student Services, and Financial Aid.

Ideal candidate will have 3+ years in leadership in post-secondary education, teaching experience, and strong collaboration skills to manage remote and blended teams within a matrixed organization.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree required.
  • Minimum 3 years of supervisory/leadership experience in a post-secondary educational environment.
  • Minimum 3 years of teaching experience.
  • Knowledge of state regulations, accreditation standards, Title IV regulations.
  • Excellent leadership, organizational, analytical, and decision‑making skills.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proven ability to work effectively within a matrixed organization while managing remote and blended teams.

Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic leadership and oversight for all campus operations, including Education, Admissions, Student Services, Career Services, Financial Aid, and Administrative functions.
  • Recruit, hire, train, mentor, develop, and manage faculty and Education Department staff while fostering a collaborative, student-focused teaching environment.
  • Partner closely with campus leadership across Admissions, Career Services, Educational Funding, Student Services, and other departments to ensure a seamless and exceptional student experience.
  • Lead and manage the daily operations of the campus, including budgeting, staffing, scheduling, resource allocation, facilities, and operational planning.
  • Ensure academic programs deliver high-quality, industry-relevant instruction while maintaining compliance with accreditor, state, federal, and institutional requirements.
  • Oversee curriculum development, implementation, adaptation, and continuous improvement to align with workforce demands and institutional goals.
  • Monitor instructional quality through classroom observations, faculty evaluations, and student feedback while supporting instructor development.
  • Drive student success by monitoring academic progress, retention, attendance, graduation, and employment outcomes while implementing intervention strategies for at-risk students.
  • Monitor campus performance metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs), using data to identify opportunities for operational and academic improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with accreditation standards, Title IV regulations, state licensing requirements, and institutional policies while maintaining accurate documentation and reporting.
  • Lead campus meetings, communicate organizational initiatives, and promote collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement across all departments.
  • Represent the campus and organization within the local community by building relationships with employers, industry partners, community organizations, and regulatory agencies.
  • Demonstrate strong leadership while serving as the primary academic and operational leader for the campus and geographic region assigned.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Excellent leadership, organizational, analytical, and decision‑making skills.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
  • Proven ability to work effectively within a matrixed organization while managing remote and blended teams.
  • Strong interpersonal, coaching, employee development, and team‑building skills.
  • Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint) and experience using Student Information Systems (SIS) and Learning Management Systems (LMS).
Preferred
  • Master's Degree in Education, Business Administration, Organizational Leadership, or a related field.
  • Experience leading a career college, technical school, or vocational education campus.
  • Experience with strategic planning, operational excellence, and organizational growth initiatives.
