Job summary

Creative Dining Services is seeking a detail-oriented Utility staff member to support daily operations at Volunteer State Community College in Gallatin, TN. The role helps keep facilities clean, safe, and ready for food service and guests.

Responsibilities include dishroom work, cleaning floors and surfaces, maintaining organized dock and receiving areas, and assisting in front and back of house. The schedule is Monday-Thursday, 8:00am–5:00pm, full-time.

Qualifications

• Strong work ethic and self-starter.
• Ability to lift 25 lbs.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Ensures trash bins are clean and emptied as needed; picks up trash around dock, entrance and landscaping areas.
• Sweeps and mops kitchen floors as needed.
• Keeps the dock and receiving area clean and organized.
• Works in the dishroom, ensuring equipment and serviceware are clean and safe for use.
• Scrubs and mops cooler floors daily.
• Assists in cleaning back of house and front of house areas.
