Job summary

Elior Collegiate Dining is seeking a part-time Utility Worker at Mississippi Delta Community College to oversee sanitation operations and coordinate tasks for completion. The role involves cleaning floors and tables, restocking dining area supplies, waste disposal, inventory receiving, and sanitizing dishes and equipment.

Ideal candidates will follow safe procedures, work well independently or in a team, and may have prior foodservice or maintenance experience.

Qualifications

• Able to use safe operating procedures and sound judgement.
• Able to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Nice-to-have: Prior experience in foodservice and/or a maintenance role.

Responsibilities

• Caring for and cleaning floors and table areas.
• Restocking supplies in the dining area.
• Removal and proper disposal of waste.
• Receiving and stocking inventory.
• Cleaning, maintaining, and sanitizing dishes, utensils, cooking equipment, the dish room, and other equipment.
