Creative Dining Services is seeking a detail-oriented Utility Worker for Volunteer State Community College in Gallatin, TN. The role supports daily dining operations, ensuring cleanliness, safety, and a positive customer experience across kitchen, dishroom, and dining areas.

The position offers full-time hours, a Monday-Thursday schedule from 8:00am to 5:00pm, and benefits including insurance, 401(k) with company match, paid time off, and earned wage access.

Qualifications

• Strong work ethic and self-starting attitude are essential.
• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Ensures trash bins are clean and emptied as needed throughout the day.
• Sweeps and mops kitchen floors as needed.
• Keeps the dock and receiving area clean and organized at all times.
• Works in the dishroom ensuring equipment, pots/pans, smallwares and serviceware are clean and safe for use.
• Scrubs and mops cooler floors daily.
• Assists in cleaning back of house and front of house areas.
