Snelling Staffing Lexington is hiring Food Service Workers for dining locations throughout the University of Kentucky campus in Lexington, KY. Multiple schedules and shifts are available with starting pay at $16/hour. Many immediate openings across campus allow flexible availability.

Positions include dining halls, cafés, quick-service spots, campus markets and more, at various UK campus facilities. Location specifics and reporting will be provided based on your position.

Qualifications

• Able to provide good customer service.
• Able to stand and remain active throughout the shift.
• Willing to follow food-safety and sanitation requirements.
• Reliable transportation to the University of Kentucky campus.
• Previous restaurant, cafeteria, dining, hospitality, retail, or food-service experience is helpful, but opportunities may be available for candidates without previous experience.

• Providing friendly customer service to students, faculty, staff, and campus visitors
• Maintaining clean and organized work areas
• Cleaning tables, counters, equipment, and food preparation areas
• Washing dishes and utensils as needed
• Restocking food, beverages, supplies, and service items
• Following food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures
• Assisting other team members during busy meal periods
• Performing other food-service duties as assigned
