Job summary

Chartwells Higher Education, a leader in on-campus dining, seeks an Assistant Director of Dining Services I at Keene State College in Keene, NH.

You will assist with day-to-day operations for a medium to large location, manage a team, and help achieve client satisfaction, profitability, and financial goals.

The role emphasizes talent development, relationship management, and implementing culinary programs with the support of the management team.

Qualifications

• 1 to 3 years of food service management experience.
• Experience in restaurants, hotels, corporate dining, education, military, health care, and/or related food service operations.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Financial experience and business acumen skills.
• Proficient computer skills and knowledge of MS Office products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and internet.
• Associate’s degree is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assists with day-to-day food service operations of a medium to large location.
• Manages and leads a team of associates and supports talent development.
• Maintains client relationships, profitability, and financial goals in an assigned area.
• Collaborates with Chef and management to create nutritious, top-quality food.
