Job summary

University of Notre Dame Operations, Events, and Safety is seeking a Temporary on-call Retail Associate (Huddle C-Store) to deliver fast, friendly service in a busy campus dining environment. You will handle guest needs, operate POS, and help keep a clean, well-stocked unit during 2nd and 3rd shifts.

Candidates should be able to work late nights (6PM-2AM) and Sundays, maintain composure under pressure, and follow food safety standards.

Qualifications

• Availability for late-night shifts (6PM-2AM) and Sundays.
• Capable of managing time effectively with minimal supervision.
• Positive, respectful, excellent communication and listening skills.
• Previous food service experience preferred.
• Ability to stand for extended periods (up to 6 hours).
• Follow food safety procedures for handling, storing, and serving food.

Responsibilities

• Assist guests and exceed expectations in a fast-paced dining setting.
• Assist with preparation of food as needed.
• Stock and rotate food inventories.
• Operate order and point of sale equipment.
• Adhere to brand standards.
• Wash dishes and maintain a clean unit.
• Perform tasks related to retail, safety, and sanitation of food facilities.
