Job summary

Genuine Foods in Saint Leo, FL is seeking a Site Lead to manage daily menu execution and the operations of a school-site kitchen to company standards. You will lead cooks and prep staff, oversee ordering, inventory, and records, ensure on-time service for breakfast, lunch and snacks, and deliver warm, student-friendly service in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidate has 2+ years supervisory experience in mid- to high-volume food service, can lift 50 lbs, and is passionate about nutritious

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of food or customer service supervisory experience/training in a mid-high volume food service facility or restaurant.
• Creative problem-solver with passion and fresh ideas.
• Organized, dependable and self-motivated.
• Team builder with ability to develop a team.
• Able to work independently and manage up and down.
• Able to climb stairs and lift up 50 lbs.
• Interest in Genuine Foods’ mission to use food to help students.

Responsibilities

• Leads the daily preparation and service for breakfast, snack, and/or lunch.
• Executing meals in accordance with the daily menu and recipe standards.
• On-time service in accordance with the minute-by-minute school schedule for the location.
• Manages food service associates as direct reports and ensures procedures are followed.
• Completes NSLP production records documenting daily meals and components.
• Accountable for the school’s financial performance via inventory and waste management.
• Receives deliveries and verifies quality before signing for acceptance.
• Maintains food safety practices including rotation and inventory controls.
• Takes daily inventory and places orders accordingly.
• Serves as the face of Genuine Foods to students, teachers and parents.
• Reports to the field manager and culinary/operations directors.
