Qualifications

• Supervisory or management experience in food service, hospitality, or dining operations.
• Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation practices.

• Experience with labor management, scheduling, and inventory systems.
• Experience in a fast-paced, high-volume university dining setting.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily front- and back-of-house dining operations to ensure efficient service and high-quality food production.
• Supervise, train, and support student and hourly employees; manage scheduling and labor allocation.
• Enforce all food safety, sanitation, and health code standards; maintain required compliance logs and documentation.
• Monitor labor performance, productivity, and operational metrics to support financial goals.
• Assist with inventory management, ordering, and cost control, including tracking usage trends and minimizing waste.
• Support administrative functions including employee onboarding, payroll coordination, and HR-related processes.
• Communicate effectively with management, staff, and cross-functional teams to resolve operational issues and ensure alignment.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment that meets company and regulatory standards.
