Job summary

AVI Foodsystems is seeking a Marketing & Engagement Manager for Oberlin College in Oberlin, OH, to elevate guest experience through targeted engagement, events, and marketing programs. You will collaborate with operations leaders and AVI's Field Marketing team to align local strategies with corporate standards.

The role leads social media, branding, promotions, and budget management while driving revenue growth and client satisfaction on campus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications or graphic arts.
• 1–2 years marketing, communications, advertising, design experience.
• Experience managing social media platforms and content strategy.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Creative event planning and promotions for campus audiences.
• Ability to collaborate with diverse teams and manage multiple directions.
• Strong organizational and project management skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Cloud.
• Understanding of brand standards and merchandising.
• Experience coordinating a wide range of events, from pop-ups and themed dinners to large campus campaigns.
• Experience with digital signage systems.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and execute campus dining engagement events.
• Collaborate with chefs, operations managers, and university partners to develop and promote food programs and initiatives.
• Implement company-wide, regional, and unit-level marketing initiatives and promotional programs.
• Develop and maintain marketing materials across all platforms, including menus, digital signage, physical signage, catering identifiers, and promotional collateral.
• Coordinate design, development, and timely execution of advertising and POS materials.
• Own and drive meal plan growth initiatives, with full accountability for participation, revenue, and results.
• Plan, execute, and measure promotions designed to increase engagement and satisfaction as well as sales, customer counts, check averages, and profitability.
• Measure and report on promotion performance, customer engagement, satisfaction trends, and business impact.
• Support merchandising strategies that enhance customer experience and drive incremental sales.
• Digital, Social & Communication Management: manage campus dining social media channels and website content; create a campus communications plan.
• Guest Experience & Brand Standards: conduct regular audits of dining locations to ensure marketing, branding, and visual standards are met.
• Insights, Measurement & Reporting: conduct market analysis and share insights with account leadership.
• Team Support & Budget Management: mentor interns and manage the account-level marketing budget.
