AVI Foodsystems, Inc. is seeking a motivated Sous Chef for the University of Mount Union in Alliance, OH. The role is full-time with a Thu-Mon style schedule including weekend shifts, reporting to the Executive Chef and leading kitchen operations.

You will prepare meals to spec, manage inventory, and ensure sanitation, quality, and timely service in a high-volume environment while supporting staff development and client satisfaction.

Formación

• Culinary degree preferred.
• Two or more years of experience in a culinary lead role.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare meals and food to meet specifications in a timely manner
• Properly measure kitchen ingredients and food portions
• Ensure kitchen staff adhere to set standards, procedures, rules and sanitation requirements
• Use kitchen knives and equipment such as grills, ovens, steamers and warmers in food preparation
• Manage the kitchen inventory and ensure supplies are fresh and of high quality
• Ensure proper food temperatures when cooking and proper storage afterward
• Keep the workstation and kitchen equipment clean, organized and sanitized
• Take charge of kitchen opening, closing and other duties as directed by the Executive Chef

Sous Chef, full-time (University of Mount Union)

AVI Foodsystems is looking for an energetic and optimistic leader to fill the role of Sous Chef, Full-time at the University of Mount Union in Alliance, OH. This position is scheduled Monday through Thursday from 12:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. and includes Saturday or Sunday from 9:0 am to 7:30 p.m.
