University Housing at UW–Madison is seeking a Food Service Dishwasher to join the Dining & Culinary Services team. You will operate dishwashing equipment, maintain sanitation, and assist training student staff to deliver a welcoming dining experience for students, staff, and guests.

The role offers a steady schedule with 5 eight-hour shifts per week, including some night/weekend hours, and includes benefits and meal per shift.

Qualifications

• 6 months of dishwashing or cleaning experience in a professional setting.
• Knowledge of cleaning and sanitizing procedures.
• 1+ years of dishwashing in a high volume institutional kitchen setting.
• High School diploma preferred.

Responsabilités

• Provides customer service, including food serving, to internal and external customers.
• Cleans and maintains equipment and work areas to ensure adherence to safe food quality, handling, and sanitation processes and procedures.
• Assists student employees and provides training as needed.
• Operates a dishwashing station and associated equipment.
• Moves and maintains equipment and furniture for dining events.
• Shelves and organizes (stockroom, warehouse) inventory.
