Job summary

Thompson Hospitality seeks a Food Service Director to lead campus dining strategy, menus, and day-to-day operations. The role drives sustainable, nutrition-forward dining and engages students through diverse offerings and exceptional service.

The director will manage budgets, oversee residential and retail dining, catering, and events, while building vendor relationships and championing food safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience in food service management, preferably campus dining or higher education.
• Experience managing large, multi-outlet dining operations.
• Knowledge of budgeting, cost control, and financial targets.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute long-term strategic plans to enhance the dining program.
• Lead diverse menus that meet nutrition, dietary and sustainability goals while managing costs.
• Oversee staffing, procurement, inventory, facilities, and health & safety compliance.
