Job summary

Indiana University Bloomington is seeking a Student Residential Dining staff member for back-of-the-house food preparation and related duties in the Bloomington campus dining facilities. You will prepare items per recipes, stock stations, and assist in kitchen operations under supervision.

The role emphasizes safety, efficiency, teamwork, and customer-focused service in a fast-paced dining environment. Shift from 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM, Monday through Friday with alternating weekends; full benefits

Qualifications

• Food Safety (ServSafe) certification within 180 days from date of hire
• General knowledge at the high school level
• Ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic kitchen environment
• Strong communication and professional demeanor

Responsibilities

• Prepares and serves food items according to standardized recipes and portion sizes.
• Assists in stocking stations with supplies for meals.
• Maintains cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area and equipment.
