Job summary

The position is non-exempt, 40 hours per week, with furlough periods and benefits. A budgeted hourly range is posted; first review date is later in the season.

Qualifications

• Cash handling experience in a retail operation.
• Public contact skills and experience.
• Must have basic English (reading, writing, listening, speaking) and math skills related to the safe and efficient performance of the job.
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English and follow oral/written instructions.
• Ability to follow oral/written instructions.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Cashiering: operate the electronic point-of-sale system and handle cash accurately.
• Customer service: greet customers and resolve needs with staff or managers.
• Safety: maintain cleanliness and safety, report spills or hazards.
• Meal preparation and setup: assist with basic food/beverage prep as needed.
• Maintain signage and menus per standards.
• Follow cash handling procedures and transaction processing.
