Forty-Niner Shops, Inc. is seeking a Dining Associate I to deliver superior guest service in Parkside Dining Hall. You will greet customers, take orders, collect payment, and assemble food and beverage items efficiently while safeguarding campus assets.

The role requires active CSULB student enrollment, with initiation of California Food Handler Card and RBS within 30 days. Shifts vary across mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends on campus grounds.

Qualifications

• Must be a current CSULB student enrolled in a minimum of 6 units.
• California Food Handler Card or ability to obtain within 30 days.
• Responsible Beverage Service (RBS) or ability to obtain within 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers, take orders, collect payment, and make change.
• Demonstrate knowledge of menu items and allergen information.
• Follow alcohol serving guidelines and campus regulations where alcohol is served.
• Stock and merchandise retail items on the sales floor.
• Maintain cleanliness of dining and kitchen areas; assist with bussing and cleaning.
• Prepare and serve drinks or beverages as assigned.
• Follow safety and health regulations; adhere to brand guidelines.
