The Ohio State University is seeking an Assistant Dining Manager in Columbus, OH. This role oversees a university dining unit serving thousands daily, managing staff, production, procurement, and service to ensure quality and customer satisfaction.

The position requires a High School Diploma or GED with several years of food service management experience; preferred is an Associate degree and ServSafe/HACCP knowledge. Compensation includes benefits and premium pay for extended hours.

Competenze

• High school diploma or GED plus 4 years relevant experience.
• 1-3 years experience in food service management or related field.
• Desired: 6 years relevant experience and ServSafe/HACCP knowledge.

Mansioni

• Assist in managing a university dining unit serving ~2,500 daily.
• Supervise 10-15 full-time and up to 300 part-time staff.
• Oversee production, service, procurement, and inventory of food.
• Train and coach student employees and ensure customer service standards.
• Work weekends, holidays, and various hours as needed.
