Job summary

Chartwells Higher Education Dining Services seeks a Campus Dietitian in Houston, TX to join the University of Houston nutrition team. This full-time role requires RD credentials (or RD-eligible) and offers a Monday–Friday schedule with competitive pay and benefits.

The Campus Dietitian will provide nutrition education, lead wellness programming, support menu development and nutrient analysis, and collaborate with dining and campus partners to align with university goals.

Qualifications

• Registered Dietitian credentials or RD-eligible
• Licensed by the state Dietetics Licensing Board where applicable
• Ability to present information in one-on-one and group formats
• Experience with special diets and food allergies
• ServSafe Manager Certification a plus
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and nutrient analysis tools

Responsibilities

• Provides nutrition education and counseling for the campus community.
• Implements wellness programming and collaborates with dining/culinary teams.
• Coordinates with dining management to meet dietary needs.
• Provides nutrition training including allergen education.
• Assists menu development and nutrient analysis.
• Collaborates with marketing for accurate nutrition messaging.
• Leads Dining Services sustainability efforts with campus stakeholders.
• Oversees operations in dining spaces and trains associates.

Job Summary

We are seeking a Campus Dietitian (Full Time) to join our Nutrition Team at the University of Houston.

Responsibilities

• Provides nutrition education & training support for the campus community including tabling, lunch & learn sessions, one-on-one counseling, etc.
• Implements Chartwells Higher Education wellness programming
• Coordinates with the dining management team and culinary associates to meet dietary needs for all customers
• Provides nutrition related training including food allergen training to all associates
• Assists the management team with menu development and nutrient analysis
• Collaborates with marketing to ensure appropriate nutrition communication & messaging
• Leads Dining Services Sustainability efforts - partnering with operations and campus stakeholders to track, improve, and communicate sustainability efforts in all dining spaces
• Operational execution and oversight - hands-on work in dining spaces to serve guests, train associates, audit systems, collaborate with unit leadership, and ensure excellence in operations and culinary services
• Partner with various campus offices, departments, and organizations to ensure alignment with university goals and needs

Qualifications

• Credentialed as a Registered Dietitian by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) or RD Eligible
• Licensed by the State Dietetics Licensing Board in states where applicable
• Ability to present information in one-on-one as well group format
• Experience working with special diets and food allergies
• ServSafe® Manager Certification a plus
• Possess the necessary skills to effectively utilize Microsoft applications and nutrient analysis programs
