Job summary

Southern Illinois University Edwardsville seeks a Project Manager – Design & Construction to oversee design and construction of renovations, and potentially manage large projects via A/E consultants as the Owner's Agent.

Under the Principal Architect, you will ensure projects align with contract drawings, specifications, and budget goals while delivering campus spaces that meet client needs.

Qualifications

• Work experience in construction management or building project management.
• College coursework in construction management, engineering, or related discipline per conversion table.
• Three years of building construction management experience.

Responsibilities

• Manages project development and design with architect–engineer firms and construction contracts.
• Works with university clients and Purchasing to meet requirements.
• Develops programs, cost estimates, and designs for renovation projects.
• Performs studies and analyzes planning and design problems.
• Provides professional support to building maintenance activities.
