Job summary

University of Wyoming is seeking a Data Control Specialist to manage biographical data across Foundation databases and internal systems. You will ensure data integrity, support backups, and maintain confidentiality while collaborating with donors, alumni, and UW teams.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent and at least 1 year of relevant experience, with strong MS Office and database skills. On-campus work location emphasized.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of the UW Foundation database system with high attention to detail.
• Maintain backup information and ensure data integrity across internal systems.
• Identify data requiring verification and work with others to ensure accuracy.
• Use diverse software tools (Advance, AlumniFinder, Access, Excel, MS Office, Windows, SQL Developer, SharePoint).
• Maintain confidentiality and follow regulations regarding data handling.
• Create and maintain policies for biographical data management.
• Collaborate with donors, alumni, and campus teams to achieve Foundation goals.
