Responsibilities include cleaning floors, restrooms, meeting rooms, and other high-use areas, operating cleaning equipment, and assisting with room layouts for meetings.

The role requires support for evening activities, prompt reporting of repairs, and maintenance of custodial supplies.

Responsibilities

• Clean and disinfect facilities including sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, scrubbing, and waxing floors/carpets, dusting, furniture setup, and trash disposal.
• Clean restrooms, replenish towels, toilet paper, and supplies.
• Maintain high-use areas such as meeting rooms and kitchenettes.
• Operate custodial equipment like scrubbers, buffers, polishers, and carpet cleaners.
• Prepare room layouts and equipment setups using scheduling software.
• Assist building operations during evening activities and prepare rooms for the next day.
• Report repair needs promptly to supervisor.
• Maintain organization in custodial storage areas and equipment.
• Open/close building duties, including securing doors/windows and regulating heat/lighting.
• Order and maintain custodial supplies and equipment.
• Respond to security/fire calls during emergencies as directed.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisor or executive director.
