Job summary

Southern Connecticut State University is seeking two full-time custodians for the New Haven campus. The role involves cleaning and maintaining a variety of facilities, with a 6:00am–2:00pm schedule on Monday through Friday.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Performs custodial tasks in dormitories, classrooms, offices, and public areas including outdoor spaces.
• Dusts, vacuums, mops, and cleans floors and surfaces with appropriate equipment.
• Washes and polishes glass, woodwork, and metal surfaces.
• Performs minor maintenance tasks and reports needs for repairs.
• May move furniture and set up classrooms as needed.
