Job summary

University is hiring for full-time cleaning staff to maintain interior spaces across multiple campus buildings in East Hartford, CT. Two shift options run 8:00 am–4:30 pm and 11:00 am–7:30 pm.

Responsibilities include cleaning and sanitizing offices, classrooms, restrooms, cafeterias, labs, and libraries, using standard procedures while supporting a safe work environment. Benefits are provided to eligible staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 1 to 2 weeks training.
• Passing of pre-employment screening.
• Commitment to safety and proper cleaning procedures.

Responsibilities

• Cleans, dusts, disinfects, vacuums, sweeps, mops interior areas of school buildings.
• Maintains cleanliness of offices, classrooms, restrooms, cafeteria and common spaces.
• Adheres to standardized tasks and safety practices.
