Job summary

Lake Area Technical College is looking for a full-time Custodian to maintain a clean and safe environment for students and staff. Responsibilities include daily cleaning tasks, minor maintenance, and ensuring all campus areas are functional. Qualifications include a high school diploma, attention to detail, and some custodial experience. Evening hours (4 PM - 12:30 AM) apply during the academic year, with a competitive benefits package offered. Evening stipend of $95/month available.

Qualifications

• Previous custodial or maintenance experience preferred.
• Knowledge of cleaning equipment, chemicals, and best practices.
• Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting heavy objects (up to 50 pounds).

Responsibilities

• Perform daily cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and trash removal.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, classrooms, offices, and common areas.
• Secure buildings by locking doors and ensuring windows are secure.
