Job summary

The University of Toledo is hiring a Custodial Worker to maintain cleanliness of campus facilities in a 12:00pm–8:30pm shift. This full-time role supports public, academic and administrative areas, ensuring a safe and attractive environment for students and staff.

Responsibilities include following established cleaning procedures, using equipment safely, lifting heavy objects, and adhering to all safety policies.

Qualifications

• High school Diploma required.
• Ability to understand written and verbal instructions.
• Ability to understand and follow safety procedures.
• Ability to safely use cleaning equipment and supplies.
• Ability to lift and manipulate heavy objects.
• Must be able to complete mandatory training per policy.

Responsibilities

• Cleans and services public, academic and administrative areas as directed.
• Executes tasks in a thorough, professional manner to maintain a clean, safe environment.
• Work with customers to resolve environmental service issues and meet goals.
• Adhere to UT policies and iCare standards at all times.
