You’ll follow production guidelines and safety procedures, cook a variety of dishes, set up stations, measure and prep ingredients, and maintain clean, safe work areas while delivering friendly, attentive service to guests.

Qualifications

• Experience as a cook or in a related role required.
• Validated knowledge of basic food preparation, cooking methods, and safety regulations (food handling, sanitation, storage).
• Must be able to acquire food safety certification.
• Demonstrates basic math and counting skills.
• Strong interpersonal communication (written and verbal).

Responsibilities

• Cook and prepare a variety of food according to production guidelines and standardized recipes.
• Set up workstation with all needed ingredients and equipment.
• Prepare ingredients by measuring, weighing, mixing, chopping, trimming, and peeling food items.
• Safely uses a variety of utensils including knives.
• Operates equipment such as ovens, stoves, slicers, mixers, etc.
• Bakes, roasts, broils, steams, and uses various cooking methods on meat, vegetables, and other foods.
• Arrange, garnish, and portion food according to guidelines.
• Properly stores food following safety policies and procedures.
• Clean and sanitize work areas, equipment, and utensils.
• Maintain excellent customer service and positive demeanor toward guests and coworkers.
• Adhere to Aramark safety policies and procedures including food safety and sanitation.
• Ensure security of company assets.
