Job summary

Turner & Townsend is seeking an experienced Cost Manager / Quantity Surveyor to support capital construction projects within a dynamic higher education and institutional environment. You will provide comprehensive cost management across a diverse portfolio, collaborating with campus stakeholders, project managers, consultants, and contractors to ensure successful delivery.

The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years in cost management, a degree in a construction-related field, and possible RICS

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction-related field required.
• Strong communication skills for client engagement and team collaboration.
• Experience in cost management on construction projects.
• Construction consultancy experience is preferred.
• RICS accreditation or working towards it is valuable.

Responsibilities

• Advise client on strategies and vendor prequalification; attend bid interviews and manage appointment processes.
• Develop project estimates for construction, fees, direct costs and other expenses; present to client.
• Prepare and review cost reports and forecasts; maintain commercial risk register.
