Compass Group USA on the Galloway campus is hiring a full-time COOK to prepare food in accordance with federal, state and corporate standards, policies and HACCP guidelines.

Responsibilities include following recipes, portioning, maintaining temps, cleaning and stock control, and ensuring quality meals for students and staff. Schedule includes nights, weekends and holidays with on-site work at 101 Vera King Farris Drive, Galloway, NJ 08205.

Qualifications

• Prior cooking and prep experience is required.
• Experience in a kitchen setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepares high-quality food items according to standardized recipes and instructions.
• Serves meals or prepares for delivery with proper portioning and temperatures.
• Maintains cleanliness and stores excess food per safety rules.
• Operates and maintains kitchen equipment as instructed.
• Assists with ordering, receiving and reporting as required.
