Responsibilities

• Prepare high-quality food items according to standardized recipes and instructions to meet production, delivery and service schedules.
• Serve meals or prepare for delivery by using correct portioning and temperature control, ensuring items are attractive and safe to eat.
• Maintain kitchen cleanliness and follow safe food-handling procedures; store or discard excess food properly.
• Assist in ordering and receiving of food and supplies as required; report maintenance or safety issues to supervisor.
• Operate and maintain kitchen equipment; participate in production planning and record-keeping as needed.
