York Technical College is seeking a Construction Project Manager to lead planning, development, and execution of facilities projects across York, Lancaster, and Chester counties. The role requires coordinating with college leadership, architects, and contractors to deliver projects on time and within budget.

Responsibilities include daily site oversight, ensuring safety compliance, managing budgets, and communicating progress to stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or higher in construction management, engineering, architecture, or related field; equivalent education/experience accepted.
• PMP, CCM or similar project management certification required or strongly preferred.
• Applicants may need to provide unofficial transcripts and official transcripts on hire.

Responsibilities

• Project Planning and Development: Set goals, scope, budget, and timeline with college leadership and external consultants.
• Project Execution and Management: Oversee day-to-day construction activities, ensure quality, budget, and schedule adherence.
• Stakeholder Communication: Act as liaison between college administration, contractors, and external agencies; provide status updates.
• Budget and Financial Oversight: Monitor budgets, approve expenditures, review contracts and change orders.
• Professional Development & Training: Attend relevant training and conferences to enhance project delivery skills.
