Qualifications

• Ability to work alone with little or no supervision.
• Ability to lift a minimum of 25 pounds.
• Willingness to learn about composting and environmental issues on campus.
• Public Safety Driver Safety certificate (Free and can be obtained once hired).
• Must be available to meet with members of the ASUP Executive Board and advisor.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the ASUP composting programing including training and scheduling compost riders.
• Coordinate schedules for food waste collection, transport, and disposal.
• Acquire equipment and manage storage to support operations.
• Provide periodic information and feedback to stakeholders including ASUP, Physical Plant, and Residence Life.
• Engage residence hall occupants and market the service.
• Empties compost containers into appropriate receptacles and weighs compost.
